Being the most well known on this stretch of the Costa del Sol between Malaga and Almeria, Nerja has always been very popular with the English, with Frigiliana and Torrox becoming increasingly more so over the last few years.

Nerja is based on the eastern end of the Costa del Sol. It has managed to keep much of it's Spanish charm, while growing more popular with the commercial holiday maker.

Frigiliana is one of the prettiest, and best known, of the white washed hill villages of the Costa del Sol. Recent restoration work has resulted in Frigiliana being awarded first prize for village conservation by the Ministry of Tourism.
Nerja holds many festivals throughout the year celebrating a wide vareity of events.
Having sampled them ourselves we highly recommend you visit during these times. As the local community welcomes one and all to celebrate with them. What better way to make a new friend.
Torrox holds many fiestas through the year. Both on the coast and up in the village. the most popular ones going well into the evening.
The locals are very welcoming and invite you to join in if at all possible.
